I saw this movie last night at a special advanced screening in Toronto. Wow, what a film. It's absoultely crazy! It's definitely not whatever you're expecting. When you watch it you're going to be like "What the *beep*?!?!?!" so many times. The acting is awesome. It's certainly a unique movie as a whole and the way it's presented. It's definitely worth seeing.

i thought it was really good up until the last quarter of the movie.
josh lucas seems too handsome and too well together to play the part of a teacher going crazy over a 17 yr old. and when his character started going overboard i had trouble suspending belief.
I don't remember seeing Josh Lucas in anything before, so for me he came across as completely believable as that pathetic character.
And I think you mean suspending disbelief.
I can see why someone would go crazy for Kat. Especially when she starts ignoring him. For an older guy that would suck.
shareyeah, and especially because he was already emotionally immature ever since his fiance cheated on him with his best friend. He put Caroline on this pedestal, as this young nymphette creature. He was already very suicidal, So to have her turn her back on him, brought him right back to his previous relationship and mentality.
I completely believed it and I have been a fan of Josh Lucas for a long time.
