Kind of, but add people on drugs, trying to correct the mistakes they've made in their lives. It's not a rip off.
shareI saw it today at TIFF and was really impressed with the production quality, the acting, everything. This film has turned out to be one of my favs of the fest. I hope it gets released somewhere/sometime.
shareIt's not a rip-off of Groundhog day. It'S a metaphor for a junkie'S life. When you'Re on drugs, every day is the same. You'Re caught in a vicious circle of trying only to get your fix at any cost, day by day. It's the same thing all over again until you get out of it. Like Groundhog day where Bill Murray needed the fail time and time again so he could better himself as a man. So in essence that was also a metaphor. So I guess it is like groundhog day but with drugs, which is much better.

there is no opinions about acting. you can have opinions about many parts of film, but acting is either is there or isnt. thats like saying vin diesel has bset acting ability just because i think like that.

Are you aware that Repeaters is NOT a comedy? If you do, then it doesn't make sense to expect the same "charm and genius of Bill Murray".

It saddens me that if there are 3 people left on earth, one has to be evil so they can fight against one another.
The other point the writer could have made is, while you can do what ever you want to the others as next day it's like it didn't happened, it changes the repeater.
