Anyone know how she got funding for this movie? I mean this in a purely logistical way and not an insulting way. I just don't know many 22 year olds that can get $65k to make their own movie. Yes, I realize it's a minuscule budget for a movie, but it is still a lot of money to a recent college grad.

It's listed in the trivia section for the film that her parents paid for the film. Her parents are pretty well off. I heard she got a little bit of financing from some people but it was mostly her parents.

How do you think it also got the acclaim that it did?
