Boot camp? Not so much

In the intro they describe this as a cooking boot camp but they don't do much actual training. It is just, watch this and then make it. Some of them are faking incompetence but some clearly are terrible in the kitchen. The ones who go early learn virtually nothing. It would be a different show, maybe less appealing to some but I would like to see some of the really awful chefs makes improvements and end with a final contest where at least all of them can make a decent meal.

Editing, my friend. I'm sure the teaching sessions are longer and more detailed than what we see, which is reduced to highlights to fit the format. There is no way we're going to see Anne and Rachael demonstrating a dish in real time.
