He even punched lindhagen in the face the moment he saw him. At no point he betrayed the bro code. He was a womanizer, sure. But at least he was honest about beeing a slimy womanizer. Dont think the women were too stupid to see that. Women are not that stupid

Stone's character knew what he was like. That's how she met him and he was honest with her. No one knew he helped the father until that moment. And Stone's character had no clue how many women her father may have hooked up with or not. They all got upset with Carrell's character b/c they all heard bad about him, not all that the mom did to start it.

Stone knew what type a man he was. Gosling never lied about who he was to Stone. Even on the first night together Gosling told Stone how many woman he slept with and the final move he did to get them in bed. Gosling genuinely changed and respected Stone and dated he in earnest. He even called Carell to say he like someone enough to meet her parents. Gosling did absolutely nothing wrong.

Sure Gosling was a womanizer but he was always honest even with the women that he slept with.
