No smell?
With all the blood and rotting flesh I think there would have been a horrid odor that could be easily detected
shareWith all the blood and rotting flesh I think there would have been a horrid odor that could be easily detected
shareIt's in the middle of nowhere
shareWhat about when Anna went inside??
shareShe did notice it. Fear does a lot of things too.
shareProbably the animal feces and old garbage stank pretty bad - she wouldn't have immediately thought there was anything "sinister" about the bad smell.

There is a smell when Jerry is on his meds, when he's delusional Fiona smells of baby shampoo.
Let's see if anyone tries to kill us and work backwards
His apartment was a place above a closed bowling alley in a town of 4000-5000 people. Who is gonna smell it from 10 miles away?
shareThere was. Those who went into his place noticed it immediately. Take for instance when his male coworker broke in, he was there a split second and left immediately to vomit outside.... His shrink too noticed the awfulness even before she looked around... I think it is safe to say the flesh stank up the place. In his head though, Fiona smelled like baby shampoo... which I guess is his way of coping with the stink of his ill deeds
