This is one of the most twisted, vile, and deranged films I've ever seen... so naturally I enjoyed the hell out of it! One of the best dark comedies I've seen in a long time. I hope Ryan Reynolds does more roles like this in the future.

Haha me too! I expected this to be more of a lighthearted comedy. I was surprised at how dark and disturbing it was. Wasn't what I expected but I loved it! Best movie I've seen in a long time.
shareLoved it too. Can't believe how many dismiss the obvious grim humor here. It's like Drag me to Hell all over again. Plenty of moviegoers refused to see anything fun about that one. Just because the subject matter is extreme and disturbing doesn't mean you can't have fun with it.
shareI knew nothing about this movie and only bothered to watch it because Anna Kendrick is in it. Then I was happy to see that Gemma Arterton was in it, too. So great.
But then it started, and I couldn't believe how much I liked it. That cat! This might be the movie that convinces me that Ryan Reynolds is better than I give him credit for. He did a great job in a difficult role, I thought, and the director kept the pacing tight without glossing over anything. All in all, a really good black comedy with some laugh out loud lines (mostly from that wicked cat).
