Anna Kendrick felt like the only real person in this movie
Felt legitimately sad for her when she was destined to die.
shareFelt legitimately sad for her when she was destined to die.
shareFor a moment, when she ran away from him in the apartment, I thought she may get away but at the same time that didn't seem to fit the direction of the film. I was kinda surprised the shrink got away. Creepy film.
shareHer character was a ditz who was annoyingly needy, but realistic.
I don't like people who just drop by without calling first.

She didn't feel like the only real person, but she was definitely more likable than the rest.
It was sad when he got her, because I thought for a while she was going to survive, since he didn't kill her that first night. Plus the connection they got.
Also, I would have thought there was some kind of law against killing Anna Kendrick in movies (she's just too darn adorable), but it fits this particular movie, I guess.

She was very good in the movie.
shareI agree that she felt like the only real person in the movie. Jerry was obviously completely deluded and lied to everybody around him. Fiona was dishonest to him and allowed him to think she liked him back, even Dr Warren was just doing her job and obviously had her own stuff going on so we didn't really see her personal life, just her professional. Same with the other people at the factory, we only really saw them at work so didn't know them as people.
I think that Anna Kendrick's character was the only character who was honest with herself and those around her. She really liked Jerry, so excused him obviously being after Fiona at the beginning and then just thought that she'd gotten lucky when she got with him. Even if he hadn't been a killer I think going to his house uninvited was a bad mistake, but I don't think that she had an ulterior motive, she just wanted to see him and give him cakes to make him like her back! Even picking the lock she just wanted to help him out.
That's why I feel sorry for her the most, she really got herself into it, but it was for genuine, sweet reasons.
