I got to the part where Allison visits Jerry and I had to quit.
The only thing I found funny was the dog's reaction to people knocking on the door.

What the heck is funny about the ending? -- unless you mean the ending credits. That's the only time I kind of laughed.

BTW you oughta look at Jesus's eyes/face when he and Reynolds are both dancing/singing facing the camera (I think most people look at Ryan in that shot, I did the first time I watched). Jesus is friggin smokin with sensual sexuality, his face, it didn't look that way in profile at all, but head on, holy *beep* he redefines "sexy jesus"!
shareWhat the hell, the ending wasn't funny it was supremely depressing. I assume you're talking about when he hallucinates everyone he's killed with Jesus and they sing a happy song, right? No, it was a very good scene, but I do not see any humor in it. Just mental illness.

Agreed. I definitely felt it was darkly humorous in the places it was supposed to be. I guess some people just don't get or appreciate this type of humor or genre.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a horror/comedy.
This was not a horror comedy.
Sad that you're right, but too many are so fond of themselves of being true connoisseurs of what "funny" in a real dark comedy really means and that everyone who's not laughing didn't get the plentiful of dark but "so funny" jokes.
