He's filming American Assassin in London until December. After that, he'll film The Death Cure in February. And there are rumours that they'll film in South Africa, not really a scenario where he can go back and forth with filming teenwolf and tdc. So he only has january as his free schedule. Is this it for Stiles? Stiles is not even in half the episodes in 6A. Hope that if he does have an exit, they won't kill him.
I'm sure they won't kill Stiles. TW resumes filming in October for some missing scenes in 6A so they get this properly. I don't know what is planned in 6B but I'm sure they try to work around his filming schedule somehow. But I think we will see less DOB than in the previous seasons. The series is ending anyway after 6B, so it doesn't make much sense to kill Stiles. The fandom would go nuts about it. If there would be a season 7 though, it would have been possible that DOB would have quit after S6 because of his ongoing career. If they kill someone off, then my guesses would be Scott (the hero sacrificing himself for his pack and Liam taking over) or Theo (as the finale of his redemption story).
Honestly, I don't really even see any possible "hero" deaths this season. You're either too invested to kill them off or you're not invested at all, so the impact won't be as big.
If he can't get time away from his other engagements than he might be written off the show in some way (maybe they'll say he went to the police academy or college early) . It's either that or kill him off in order to explain why he's not there. Outside of those two options, all that's left is pushing back the release of the 2nd half of season 6 until he's available to film again. But I don't think MTV will do that.
I think he's only in 1-3 episodes for the whole of 6a. He's going to have some time to film for 6b but I believe it's only for 1 episode at the most because he really has to finish filming the final maze runner movie. I don't think he is going to be in the majority of the final 10 episodes.
I doubt that... Dylan probably filmed his scenes alone, so he might have filmed 1-2 hour of scenes, maybe a little less and they probably stretched all that into 10 episode, he might miss out on 1-3 episodes. In season 6B they'll probably do the same, that's what they do these days on tv.
I'm sorry but I'm not really understanding your response. Even if what you say is true, 1-2 hours of scenes stretched over 10 episodes is barely anything. And it's definitely not enough of him to have the same amount of screen time like he usually would. Same for 6b. You can't stretch material you don't have and his injury put a stop to him filming his scenes for Teen Wolf. But I guess we'll see?
Not true, he filmed most before the accident, Melissa Ponzio said it on twitter and better 1-2 hours than 0. It's like actors who are filming big movies, don't go every week to set with the other actors for a tv show, the actor who's busy filming other stuff, will film his scenes or most of the scenes he can alone, starting with the most important ones, then they stretch those out. But he won't be in 3 episodes this season. In 6B, i don't know, he isn't back yet.
According to Wikipedia, 6A began filming February 22nd, Dylan began filming Death Cure on the 14th of March.
&A finished filming on June 27th, and I don't know if Dylan filmed any scenes for TW after his accident. He was supposed to be, I think, filming Teen Wolf and Death Cure simultaneously, flying between filming locations for each.
They did film the last episode of 6A in October, so he'll definitely be in that one.
He's currently filming American Assasin and 6B at the same time, that much Jeff Davis has confirmed.
What actually surprises me is that MTV could have made O'Brien shift his filming schedule to work around Teen Wolf, since he is no doubt contracted to appear in all episodes of the show. Why they didn't hold him to that, I don't know.
Doubt Dylan is filming both American Assassin and Teen Wolf at the same time, he probably had a day or 2 off and maybe then filmed Teen Wolf, but i doubt a big movie like that would allow him to leave to another project when he was injured a while back. The rumors a while back said he was going to film The Maze Runner: Death Cure and when he was allowed he would fly back, but never did Jeff Davis confirm that. People asked multiple of these questions if Dylan would be in 6A or even season 6 and both Melissa Ponzio & Will Wallace confirmed he was going to be because he filmed his scenes in February and March. So he had around 1 month, in 3 months you can film 6 episodes at least, 1 month for an actor working alone, doing his scenes, 12 hours a day they film (Tyler Posey said), trust me, that's a lot, it was probably a little less than a month and i think Dylan shot episode 1 with the cast still. These day those things happen a lot, tv actors that work on a movie most of the time film their scenes before going to film the movie and the serie stretches it out or if the actor returns on time they'll film again, they start with the most important scenes then the others.
I have no link to the tweets cause it was some months back.
They did film the last episode of 6A in October, so he'll definitely be in that one.
They haven't filmed it yet (Jeff Davis confirmed that about a week ago in an interview). They are waiting for Dylan to come back for that one (and solely that one). DOB hasn't been on the set of TW since February/beginning of March.
He's currently filming American Assasin and 6B at the same time
He's currently filming American Assassin, a film where he is the lead, in Europe (London, Rome), how the hell would he be filming Teen Wolf in LA at the same time? Again: He hasn't been on the set of TW since he went off to film TDC in early March.
since he is no doubt contracted to appear in all episodes of the show
I wouldn't count on that. I agree with the commenter above: He had two weeks to film his scenes for 6a back in February. And he was in a lot of scenes of 6x01. That doesn't leave a lot of time for the rest of the season. We'll get some scenes (the ones you've seen in the trailer, with Peter) stretched out over the season, but don't expect him to be on screen often. In fact, he's already not in 6x02 at all.
