Is Lydia leaving with Stiles for 6B?

assuming it's all true (it probably is true IMO) that Dylan is leaving the show and won't be back for 6B, and since the writers have been forcing (to the show's detriment) the "Stydia" thing for 6A, if Stiles is leaving Beacon Hills will Lydia (because of her "amazing, epic love" for Stiles) leave with him. i like Lydia so i'm not saying i want her to leave. i just don't get why the writers forced this Stydia thing (for what, 6 or 7 eps?) if they aren't going to have Stiles & Lydia end up as a couple.

I can't see Holland leaving, the writers wouldn't get rid of two original cast as that'd leave only Posey remaining from that era. It'd make 6B a bigger collapse for ratings and end the show on a low.

It was a mistake for the writers to fan service Stydia when they knew O'Brien wouldn't be in S6 that much

When 6A scripts were written, they didn't know at that time that Dylan would miss 6B entirely.

They thought they'd have more time to set up and show their relationship.

But at least after next week's episode we'll say goodbye to Stiles and won't need to watch this show anymore.

Surely they must've had some idea given it would've been known around that time O'Brien had a back to back movie filming schedule in place.

I know it's a very unpopular opinion here but at this point I don't care:
I loved Teen Wolf from episode one. I loved Stiles, Lydia and Scott. But right now, I'm fed up with most of the old cast. This whole remembering thing and seeing Lydia stutter and crying "Stiles" all the time... I just want it to end. Every scene around Liam was by far more enjoyable for me than the old cast.
I emphasise "for me", I don't expect others to feel the same way. But if Stiles and Lydia left the show, I'd still watch and probably enjoyed it more. Enough is enough.

Forcing? Seriously? You're still on that trip? The build-up to the Stydia relationship has been going on for a while now. You're just too caught up in your little, "I hate Stydia!" nonsense to see that!

Besides, it's not like they boinked shortly after meeting each other! That, "honor," belongs to the Stalia 'ship and the Lydia/Aiden 'ship ... whatever that one's called!

Livana, are you on medication which causes you to hallucinate or whatever? i think you must be. lol. yes, Lydia's completely out of nowhere "epic love" for Stiles is 100% forced. yes, Stiles had a crush on Lydia but that was not returned. she has never shown any romantic interest in Stiles UNTIL about 5 eps ago. i couldn't care less if Stiles ended up with Lyida, i'm not against them being a couple. i AM against a lousy/forced completely out of nowhere shipping of these 2 characters though. if they had had Lydia starting to return romantic feelings for Stiles over the past couple of seasons then her "epic love" for him this season would be organic and feel justified. but that is not the case here.

I agree with everything you just said. This whole Stiles and Lydia storyline really seems like Jeff is catering to annoying "shippers" and it is making this show have such a cliche storyline. The fact that they had Lydia be the one who brought Stiles back and not Scott was also an insult to viewers. This has been his brother for years but Lydia realizes she loves him this season and suddenly holds all the power.

The Stydia shippers will never give up their illusion that Lydia has shown any romantic feelings at all toward Stiles in the first five seasons. The fact is that she has shown no feelings for him except friendship until this season. So yes, the writers are forcing this relationship on the viewers just to please a small group of shippers. Most viewers don't want it. Thank goodness that Stiles is leaving the series after next week's episode. Then this Stydia nonsense will be over.

I don't find it forced at all!! Memory found validated me from the 3x11 kiss. The first time I saw that episode I thought her reactions after the kiss in that scene was clear indication that she realized she has feelings for him. It then played throughout 3b, then 4 and 5a was Malia, but then Lie Ability rekindled the spark.

And next week is really the Stiles finale?? Doesn't that make 6a kinda redundant!?

I was a stydia shipper until nothing happened after that s3 kiss..Lydia looked like she realized her feelings for him...yet she continued to go hot and heavy with Aiden.
As for lydias "jealousy" towards malia in the car in mexico s4..i don't think that was jealousy..i think Lydia didn't like malia at first cuz of malias personality..she had no compassion or morals..spent 8 years as s coyote never learned any of that. She would leave anyone (besides stiles) behind.
And i quote.
Kira: is that what you would do in the wild kingdom..leave her for dead?"
Malia: if she was weak and injured yes..if hunting had been bad that season, id eat her..then id leave"
Stiles: ya believe it or not..thats progress. Lol

Well, if Stydia shippers are delusional, then I must really be bad since I still ship Stanny and Steter. Haha.
