He's still alive. But he's leaving Beacon Hills, at least for a while. He has a reason for leaving that we will find out about tonight.

He's definitely leaving but that won't happen until the second episode of 6B. It'll be hard to squeeze everything tonight so I think there'll be one more episode to explain his absence. I'm actually pretty excited for 6B! With Stiles gone and taken care of, the other characters will take center stage.
Let's make another prediction: 6B will feature Mr. Douglas as the main villain, cuz Davis can't let go of that horrid Dread Doctors storyline. Ever.
