Calm down everyone

A lot of people seem ready to hate on this show for poor writing because it didn't go exactly how they wanted it to. I think Lydia remembering to the point at which they succeeded at breaching whatever limbo Stiles was in wasn't necessarily a result of her having a stronger connection per se... but of her not freezing to death before it happened. You know, 'cause they tried a new tactic. Also, it could have been because that tether was established with the three people he was closest to, as well as having been established with his dad a couple of eps back.

People keep accusing the show of being illogical, and it truly is at times (take last week's brand new take on Claudia's death, for example), but it's almost as if every non-Stydia shipper felt personally attacked and triggered to the point at which they flat out refused to see the bigger picture. Inb4 you guys assume, I was never a shipper of Stydia. I'm never a shipper of anything but the writers laid the foundation for Stiles and Lydia ending up together as the endgame long ago. I'm cool with it.

I very much liked the episode, I liked the fact that we got to look back on those more powerful moments between the main cast. I also enjoyed the Liam and Theo parts. Who else has noticed that anything involving Liam is FAR better without Hayden?

I agree with you!

And yes I love Liam without Hayden:) I don't hate her I just don't care for her...her's and Liam's scenes are always cheesy...I like Theo and Liam as potential friends/partners in crime:)

the writing on this show has been terrible and inconsistent (for the most part) since season 3. i no longer expect much, if anything great, out of this show. having the writers force the Stydia thing at the expense of the already established unbreakable/powerful friendship between Scott & Stiles (which remains the best writing the show has done...that along with Stiles & the Sheriff's wonderful father/son scenes) was absurd but not surprising since the past several seasons have had piss poor writing.

i will say though that when (even in current seasons) this show actually has a well written scene TEEN WOLF shines and is excellent. the scene with the Sheriff remembering Stiles with the red string was one of the best scenes the show has ever had. unfortunately those great scenes are far and few between.

Stydia is being forced on the fans at the expense of the Scott and Stiles friendship. The show has deteriorated into a bubble gum romance joke. The truth may hurt some people, but it's the truth.

This show was always bubble gum romance at least in part. Nothing is all that different.

Well, most romances has been forced on the fans.... TW writers are just not good at it.

I know that the Stydia shippers don't understand this, but a lot of people really don't like the idea of a romance being forced upon us. To the point that it's making us glad that the show is ending.

I agree! The romance between Malia and Stiles was especially awful and force. Don't you agree?

:))) Don't fight with him.... he will see it only with Stydia not with Stalia :)))

Stalia is forced. It's pathetic. There is no reason for a romance between Stiles and Lydia. It's a ridiculous idea. Just to please some noisy shippers.

The romance with Lydia and Stiles is forced. Because the show is catering to a small loud fanatic group of Stydia shippers. And it's lousy.

Criticising the show's writing is not just about Stydia.

Season 4 had two major storylines that didn't connect (Kate/Derek & the Benefactor). The revelation of who the Benefactor was, and especially the scene with Peter going nuts, were ludicrous.

Season 5 had terrible, boring villains in the form of the Dread Doctors. Add in the terrible, new supporting cast and a botched attempt at creating friction between Scott and Stiles, and you have terrible writing all over.

Season 6 has so far had equally boring villains. Just like DDs, the Ghost Riders have no personality traits, no attributes of any kind. Who gives a *beep* about them and what they want? And carrying Mr. Douglas over from season 5 (including that awful supporting cast) has been a big mistake. And then there's the fact that you could have replaced Scott's character with a houseplant this season and it wouldn't have made a difference.

At least Sheriff Stilinski has had a few good scenes.

The writing is pretty bad, but people need to remember, that even though adults like myself can certainly be fans of this show, it's been written mostly for tweens/teens since day one.
