What happened in 6A??

Can someone please just explain to me what happened in 6A? I don't know what I watched these last 10 episodes...

How come everyone forgets you when the Ghost Riders takes you... but with all the main characters (except for Stiles) everyone could still remember each other and travel between the 2 worlds?

Also, why in the winter finale did the Ghost Riders just leave after all of the fighting? They then just ignored Mr Douglas when he ordered them to kill Scott and the rest... and then he just turned into a Ghost Rider as well?

They were made aware of the riders through Deaton and Corey being able to cross over. In the finale the rider's train that takes everyone, was diverted after the two worlds were colliding, so the hunt ended. It's stated many times the rider's aren't inherently evil, the are just a supernatural force that are taken advantage of by Douglas.

One more thing...
Why was all the other people like "zombies" at the train stations?
All the main characters were fine? So why were all those people just sitting there... they can't see or hear anything?

all the people that had been taken previously were trapped in the train station (like Stiles also was before the episode in which Peter traveled back).
it has been speculated that as the hunt approaches to an end (aka most of the people had been taken), they don't really care that much about "properly" hunting them, which is why hayden, mason, melissa and argent were still aware in the hunt. (or maybe it's because they knew so much about the hunt at that point).
the purpose of the hunt was to get everyone on the train and afterwards, move to the next city.
the hunt is trapped in it's own dimension (the one with the train station) and they (and their horses, as demonstrated by liam) can travel to our dimension and back, but they don't stay in it. douglas wanted them to permanently be in our dimension so he could use them for himself, so he used corey to merge the two worlds together. that's why near the end of the episode, the mains were able to travel between the two worlds and were not "trapped" like the other people.

also, in short, they are mains, so they are "immune" cause otherwise, who would save the world?
