Jaimie Alexander as Jacqueline Kennedy

I have just started to watch the series, but after reading a bit of background information on The Kennedy family and browsing through dozens of pictures, I had a thought and couldn't get it out of my head.
Wouldn't Jamie Alexander (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3325002240/nm1526352) be just brilliant as Jackie Kennedy (http://www.mycosmicdna.com/cosmic_dna_bank/images/Jackie%20O%20Jacquel ine%20Kennedy%20Onassis.jpg)?
I don't know if Jaimie could pull it off as an actress, but the looks-wise similarity between the two struck me as uncanny. Also, I have nothing against Katie Holmes and have yet to see if she is any good as Jackie, but still, I had to share my thoughts.

She looks nothing like Jackie O. other than both being brunettes.

Maybe there's an invisible hand guiding me to all that's great and good.

Really, "YB"??? I see it........however, given the fact that they had no problem hiring an actor that had neither the looks, nor the 'vibe' to play Frank Sinatra, it's clear that looks alone weren't the only criterion for actors/actresses landing a role on this project....

Anyone would have done it better than Katie Holmes...believe me. I didn´t like it as Jackie. I think the only reason she got the part was because she loves fashion and she is a young mother like Jackie was, but she didn´t do it well.
