Why didn't that poor fair skinned little girl not have a hat on when they went on their hike? The sun was beating down on them and when they stopped for water, novas hair looked drenched with sweat. Poor baby.

shareProbably because a lot of babies won't keep one on. I know my daughter won't. I have had bows in her hair since the day she was born, but when she hit about a year she started yanking them out. Can't keep them in for nothing now.
shareMy cousin does daycare and it seems every baby girl is brought with one of those headbands but by the time they are about a year old, they start taking them off. I don't think the hat thing is such a big deal as long as they are diligent with sunscreen and reapplying it often.
