poor nova

Why didn't that poor fair skinned little girl not have a hat on when they went on their hike? The sun was beating down on them and when they stopped for water, novas hair looked drenched with sweat. Poor baby.

reply

and they had her strapped in the car seat with a scratchy strap and Nova had no shirt on.

reply

Maybe she wouldn't keep a hat on? That scene made me shake my head too.

reply

Probably because a lot of babies won't keep one on. I know my daughter won't. I have had bows in her hair since the day she was born, but when she hit about a year she started yanking them out. Can't keep them in for nothing now.

reply

My cousin does daycare and it seems every baby girl is brought with one of those headbands but by the time they are about a year old, they start taking them off. I don't think the hat thing is such a big deal as long as they are diligent with sunscreen and reapplying it often.

reply

Does anyone know when this was filmed?

reply

If they were in Arizona, it was said the Easter pics were taken when Cait was in rehab. So april-ish I would say

reply

And Catelynn in flip-flops! Not appropriate hiking gear, especially in rattlesnake country.

reply

i don't think they really "hiked" for very long.

reply

haha probably not. I'd be surprised if they lasted more than half an hour, if that, but still enough time to get bit by a snake.

reply

I was really annoyed with the lack of protection under the sun's hot rays myself but then I thought...this is Tyler and Catelynn, they probably went for a 10 minute walk....

reply

I thought the exact same thing, but not only that - Tyler was wearing a hat!
