"I need my drinking partner back."
Ah yes, Taylor and Maci's light at the end of the pregnancy tunnel. How sweet.
The only thing constant in life is change

So sad. So many people are saying how dare anyone judge them, just because they are decent people who take care of their kids. THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM DRINKING. When nearly every other scene there is alcohol or talk of alcohol, that's a concern. Also, he LOOKS like an alcoholic. Not a binge drinker (which I am, and almost any person in their 20's has binge drank; any time you drink to the point of intoxication in one night it is considered binge drinking. I don't drink every day and am not physically dependant but when I do I get drunk(although never black out, never endangered myself or others, always woke up and took care of business as usual the next day), but he is red/flushed faced all the time, eyes always look glazed like he's buzzed or tipsy. Which are hallmark signs of alcoholism. Not just a night of fun. Now again, I have no problem with drinking. I love to enjoy myself-safely. But if you're on NATIONAL TELEVISION and you can't manage to put down the effing beer, you have a problem. And people will see it.
shareLet me guess, you went to school and get a degree in this field and know everything about this right, or are you one of those people that just "think" they know everything about people and their drinking habits?
shareSo how do you know that the beer Taylor has in his hand is his 1st or his 10th? Are they labeled as such? How can you say someone looks like an alcoholic? Can you tell the difference in someone that is 21-30 yrs old that is a binge drinker and an alcoholic for 15 collective minutes on television every Monday night? Maybe Taylor has the Hallmark symptoms of allergies....
Every time you decide to drink alcohol you are running the risk of not only injuring yourself or someone else around you, one sip is all it takes. To say that your way of drinking is any less harmful than Taylor's way of drinking is ridiculous. Who died and you America's AA sponsor.
Why is everyone so judgmental about this, maybe be just likes the refreshing take of a bud lite. I say cheers to you Taylor, enjoy!
Oh and I am not an alcoholic, I just suffer from allergies, but when I had my son all I wanted was a margarita, I craved one for 7 LONG months. Oh and "Everyone Gasp" I had one, a few weeks after my son was born....OMG
I don't mean to be crass, but how would you like it if people made these assumptions about you, you binge drink, so does that mean you can't take care of your child/children, does that automatically mean you are promiscuous or more likely to drink and drive? How would you like it if someone said you look like a drug abuser and all you had was a cold. The moral of the story is, is that you DON'T know Taylor so who are you to make these assumptions and accusations? You probably are safe when you drink, and no one can begrudge you having a good time. Just step off of your soapbox for one minute and see that maybe what you "think" is true really isn't at all.
I agree. Booze seems like one of their main "things", to the point where it's possibly unhealthy. Remember Bentley last year saying "I need a beer or something"? He didn't come up with that on his own. That's the culture he lives in, and he sees it, he hears it, every day. That's a problem.
shareI didn't take it that way at all. Like my daughter had a birthday party at my house with 8 screaming pre-teen girls. I told my friend "there is not enough wine in the world for me to do that again". It was a joke, I would never drink to get through a children's party :P "I miss my drinking buddy" doesn't have to mean "I miss falling down drunk every night with you", it could mean "hah sucks that you can't drink for 9 whole months, I bet you're looking forward to a beer!".
shareIt was more the fact that it was his first comment in response to Maci's impending delivery. Like, THAT is what you're looking forward to? If Taylor didn't drink in every scene, maybe I would have just thought it was a silly immature thing to say. As it is, beer is clearly high priority in his life.

It is an odd thing to say. I wonder what would happen to their relationship if either of them permanently stopped drinking?
shareYou had a party with 8 pre-teen girls and you didn't even have one glass? I commend your restraint.
