Breaking the 4th Wall (having the production crew interact with the moms

I might be in the minority when I say this, but I hate the new format where we see the producers interacting with the moms & kids. I guess the reason I hate it is because these are people in their 40s interacting with the moms in their 20s acting like they're best buds. I hate how the production crew kisses Farrah's ass. It's really annoying and I wish they would go back to their old format. I don't care to see the crew.

Anyone else, or is it just me? :)

I actually like it. And i don't think age has to matter in friendship, especially when the crew has seen them through so much. But yes, seeing them kiss up to Farrah is annoying though its probably just the safest way to interact with her at this point.

I'm of two minds on the subject. Crew clips often strike me as interruptive but it's interesting to see how the questions they ask the moms are actually set-ups to bring up controversy. The producers act very naive and innocent, but the questions they are calculated to stir the pot. They do walk on eggshells around Farrah and treat her sympathetically, although that, too, I think, is a ploy. If people are telling Farrah what she wants to hear, she doesn't walk out of camera range.

I think one of the major reasons they interact because the girls are pretty boring now, They need some type of drama or gossip to bring in more ratings. That's why they brought Farrah back because love or hate her, she brings drama to the table.Teen mom 2 is less work because those girls are plain entertaining lol.

I think they'll be breaking the fourth wall on Teen Mom 2 this upcoming season.

Except Chelsea lol you can always tell when the crew tries to get her to talk *beep* on Adam cause she will be like in the kitchen or something and just like forced to randomly complain about him lol.

Agreed. I dislike the crew interactions. It's very disruptive to the flow.

I don't like it either to be honest. While I have respect for the crew (dealing with the girls is no picknick I'd imagine) I'm not exactly keen to see the crew. I don't see the point.

It's just as weird as Max and MTV crew filming 'Catfish', there is no point for both of them to be around..

Dear Warden. You were right. Salvation lies within.

I think it's kind of interesting to have that behind the scenes aspect, and a lot of the the crew are basically like family now at this point anyway. However, interacting is one thing, instigating drama is another thing. So I don't love it, don't hate it.
