Why in the world did she say that Ryan is Maci's fourth child??? That made no sense.
shareBecause he does not actively participate in Bentley's life and she always has to be almost a parent to Ryan as well by letting him know all the time about his son's plans and activities in order to try and get his father to participate in his son's life.

So in order for Bentley to spend any real time with his dad, Maci is the one who has to do all the planning. She basically has to be Ryan's keeper in order for him to have any time with his son. Since she's essentially taking on Ryan's responsibilities so Bentley can see him, I could see how it makes sense to say Ryan is like her 4th child.
shareThat actually sounds more like Jen's role. Jen does those things. Maci says she hasn't even talked to him and Jen is the one that gets Bently and takes him to Ryan. Throughout most of this Maci has contemplated not letting Bently visit as much because he doesn't even see his dad during that time. He's mostly with his grandparents.
shareI guess I haven't been paying close attention lately. I tend to multitask a lot when it's on. I figured she still had to track Ryan down to get him to halfway step up. There for a couple episodes it seemed like he had. Wonder what happened??
