Why are Jayde and Maverick in daycare?
Does Maci still work? Maverick is still so little :(

I know she runs the t-shirt (online?) company.
shareBecause Maci and Taylor want to have beer drinking contests. Just kidding. I think it's because Maci is selfish and wants free time to herself.
shareRight? I mean the kid is like a month old! Why wouldn't she want him home with her? Jayde too. If she does work on the clothing business then hire a babysitter to watch the kids at her house a few hours a day or do work while they're napping.

I disagree, Jayde would benefit much more from being able to socialize with kids her age in a daycare than she would having a babysitter in her own house. Naps can be few and far between once they hit a year old, and working is next to impossible when you are trying to constantly chase / entertain /take care them. Maverick on the other hand I do agree would be better off at home with her being only a month old. At that point I think he needs her more than anything else. He's at the age where he most likely sleeps 90% of the time unless he's a fussy baby.
shareI don't see the point in hiring a babysitter to come to your hosue when you work at home. just because I know I'd be like wtf if I showed up to someone's house to baysit & they're like oh if you need anything I'll be down the hall. I would be like what's the point of me babysitting when you're going to be home the entire time?

I work from home and it would be impossible to get any work done when my toddler is around. Either I wouldn't be able to concentrate, or she'd be trying to grab everything on my desk, taking papers off the printer, and forget trying to make anyour phone calls while she's around.
I work during her naps and once she's in bed for the night, but I only work 15 hours/week. If I worked any more, I'd have to either send her somewhere a day or two a week, or have a babysitting come over to be with her while I'm working. Luckily our parents are more than happy to take her, but if I had to hire someone I don't know real well, I'd much rather the sitter come to my house. Plus that means you don't have to spend time dropping off or picking up, don't have to pack lunches or pay extra for food since they can just eat your own food that's in the house.
Well, it's like a nanny. But the more I think about it, the more it would make sense for Maci to just hire someone to do the clothing business work. I mean, she could take that daycare money and use it to pay them. Even if only temporary.

How is it selfish to want free time to yourself? Maybe it's just easier for her to work on the T-shirt company and get things done around the house. she can afford it, so why not

Maci has said in the past that she's worked, does she have a job now outside of the house, I don't know, but there is nothing wrong with having your kids in daycare. Even if you work from home having the kids there is a distraction. Anyone that I have ever known that works out of there house or from home have always put their kids in daycare.
shareI can possible see putting Jayde in daycare part-time for the social aspect (being around children her age, learning things, interacting), but putting a baby Maverick's age in daycare when you stuff t-shirts into mailing envelopes seems silly.
shareYeah thats why I'm being so critical I guess. It's not as though it's work that takes all of your focus. And really, how much business does this company get anyway? I'm actually curious.

Amber's fiance, Matt, is a customer lol. He was wearing one of the shirts on a recent episode.
shareAgree with OP. Taylor was telling his hipster buddies how chaotic his life is. Every day he drops off Bentley at summer camp & then he takes Jayde & Maverick to daycare. So you've parked your kids elsewhere for the day - how is that chaotic?
shareWell, of course it's chaotic...it interferes with his drinking time!
shareHaha for real...they have no idea what chaotic is.

Agreed.
shareSooo little. I agree with this question.
