20 minutes late??

Seriously, I usually stick up for Catelynn because I feel bad for her and what she's going through, but there was no excuse for her being late to that doctors appointment. Then just expecting them to let her go ahead and go in for the remaining time? Sorry but it doesn't work like that. I am definitely one who hates getting up in the morning. Taking my son to school in the morning requires me to set an alarm for myself at least 30 minutes before I have to get him up because I know I have a hard time getting myself out of bed in the morning. I don't see any excuse for her hitting the snooze button knowing all she had to do was roll out of bed and throw her hair in the messy bun and throw on a tshirt and what looked like yoga type pants. You know it took all of 5 minutes to do that.

I truly believe that it was because she was hungover. Also she may have been afraid of the drug screen. Not just about pot. She is absolutely in the worst shape we've every seen her. I believe it is rooted in the Carly adoption and not her childhood.

It is absolutely rooted from Carly. She always talks about how happy she used to be as a kid. I think B & T are beginning to put their foot down when it comes to Carly since she's getting older and Catelynn can't handle it. Both her and Tyler seemed to legitimately think when she got older she would be allowed to come stay with them. Or like they would begin to have more control in her life. When she had Nova she seemed to think that she would be able to have a sisterly relationship with Nova because they're biological sisters. It seems to have hit them that none of that is ever going to happen.

I agree. She looked awful. It's really bad. I want her to get the help she needs. Bless her heart.

I'm thinking the combination of weed and depression caused her to oversleep. I don't feel sorry for her anymore. She knows what she needs to do to get better. She is lucky to have all the help she is offered, and she does nothing.

Normally when I go or my children go to a doctor you get there 15 minutes early the first time to fill out paperwork and check in. And let's not pretend this was a 7 am appointment, it was 9.

Not only that, but she was driving like a bat out of hell trying to make it on time on an interstate with I assume was over the 70 mph speed limit endangering others on the road. She already wrecked Tyler's truck just parking.

I don think Ive ever been more than 5 minutes late to an appointment. They were never big or important appoints that you can only get into once every 3-6 months. They've been just regular check ups at the doctors or dentist. We're usually 10-15 minutes early for them.

Tyler should definitely have gone with her. What husband wouldn't go with his wife for such an important appointment? Not to sit in but just to get her there.

I thought it looked like he was doing something with their other hosue that day. Like meeting someone about it or something?

Let's see... he had to take care of their child, like he always does. He had to work on their house that they bought together. Because Tyler doesn't have a built in excuse like Cate, so he actually has to do things he committed to.

That was frustrating to watch. I feel like even the editors of the show are tired of Catelynn's sabotage. I couldn't help notice the cartoon at the end of her segments are showing this big blue blob of a guy. One was shown sitting on a rock when Catelynn went to "sit on the rocks" due to her panic attack, and then the same blobber was seen sitting on an alarm clock, hitting snooze.

This show usually will not show smoking cigarettes but featured Catelynn smoking while racing to the doctor's office. Then she hits the curb of her own driveway. We've all hit curbs, no big deal, but to see that just after speeding while driving and dinging Tyler's truck an episode ago, and the cartoon depictions, and it's not looking good for Catelynn. More importantly, things like missing an important doctor visit are not looking good.
