Focusing on Matt too much

Amber's segmants are slowly turning into the Matt show. This whole last episode focused almost completely on Matt and his "past." They even brought his adult son into the mix. All of this out of the blue. For some reason, they are putting a lot of focus on this guy and dispelling all the rumors about he and Amber's relationship. This is just my opinion, but I really don't care about Matt or his sordid past. Fact or fiction, Matt is definitely not a Teen Mom. Amber is with this guy willingly, and nobody is forcing her. She knows the deal by now about him. Why do they feel the need to defend themselves and their relationship to adamantly? The media is always going to say things, and always has said things. Why is it suddenly such a devastating issue? Especially since they have been together for several years now.

Amber even admitted that she was doing the Dr Drew thing mostly for Matt, and not really for herself. It seems like he thinks his story is more important than it actually is. He's done a good job at inserting himself into the show, and getting himself a lot more camera time. I'm not too interested in seeing more of him, or his random family members.

I actually kind of like Amber. She has come a long way, and I hope she can continue staying clean and stable. Yes, she does still have a lot of issues though. Amber, if you are happy and comfortable with your relationship, you don't have to keep fighting the rumors. It's not worth the stress. The more you acknowledge it, the worse it will get.
