It is sad because I think when the show is all said and done, the number of times Cate says Carly outnumbers the number of times she says Nova. It feels like anytime they show Nova being held or cared for, it is Tyler doing it. She's missing out on the child she didn't put up for adoption. I know she's hurting from Carly, but she has a baby girl who needs her mama. NNov is going to grow up resenting the idea of Carly.

I feel so sorry for that poor little baby. She probably hits Caitlyn because she doesn't pay a speck of attention to her. As much of a tool Tyler is he is a way better parent.
shareI agree. She acts like the baby is another chore to do. She would be happy laying down all day if they didn't have Nova. Tyler seems to love being a dad. I do think that they wish they could have kept Carly. Tyler seems fed up with the poor me Cate thing.
shareI can see that Cate has no attachment to Nova. There is no real bond, that's probably why Nova hit her, she's like a stranger. It's almost like Tyler is a single dad really. That's why he was so shocked to see this lazt b(tch even wash a dish. You see him holding, feeding, changing her, while his wife is wrapped like a burrito on a couch or in bed in that funky a$$ zebra hoodie that's fused to her skin. Cate is pathetic and it won't be long before Nova sees it. She's making really great memories for her child. Just wait until Brandon and Theresa see this season, they will really be done with these two. Tyler is arrogant and immature about the whole adoption agreement but he seems to be a helluva lot more present as a dad than Cate is as a mom. Although I was giving them BOTH the side eye when they said they would drop Nova off to April and Rich 3-4 nights a week. Why though? So you can get high, sleep, and eat in peace? No reason why her grandmother has her more than her own parents. They were not ready for parenthood at all.
