Why is Catelynn so disinterested in the house?

I completely agree that shes an anchor in his life. I've always thought that Catelynn's influence was holding him back. Sure, everyone is responsible for their own actions but your partner does influence you.

I have always felt that if Tyler was with more of a go getter who was active and not lazy like Catelynn is, that he would also be more of a go getter. I think being around a person who only wants to sit on the couch and do nothing definitely puts you in the habit of doing nothing as well because you want to be around your partner.
Cate brings him down, bottom line. It's obvious her depression is rubbing off on him. Sometimes partners of depressed people start getting depressed themselves. His mom said she notices hes been depressed lately. Catelynn is toxic to his health.

He definitely needs to leave her for all the reasons stated above. And its really mean but let's be real, Catelynn literally looks like a grandmother. Her morbidly obese body is awful and very grandma like.
She doesn't dress nicely or fix herself up to make up for it, her face isn't pretty.

I dont for a second buy that Tyler finds her beautiful and attractive like he says. Hes a young guy and sure, hes no Tom Hardy but hes not awful looking. Hes only been with catelynn and he should really experience other women who he is insanely attracted to.

Staying with catelynn is delaying the inevitable. Hes going to have an insane midlife crisis if he doesn't get out now. Any later and more children will likely be involved thus hurting more people. I think hes waiting for the show to end and for some of that reality tv show fame to dissipate so he's not judged by as many people.
Even though sorry, who can blame the guy for leaving her. If she had more going for her I would say that it's cool that hes with her. But the fact that shes so unattractive AND has nothing going for herself..why should he stay?

I can see some potential in Tyler with the right influence. I see none in Catelynn. Put a fork in her, she's done. She's given up. She's let herself go.

At this point it is inevitable that he's going to leave. Cate is making everyone around her miserable playing the victim when it suits her etc. and isn't a very involved mom. She's either going to have to step it up, get pregnant again asap or he's going to leave her sooner rather than later. If she keeps blowing money on pointless junk it's going to push him to leave faster because I think he knows the money won't be there forever and that Cate is never going to willingly work.

I really, really hope they don't have another baby.

I can see a divorce happening for these two and it's not even about looks. Tyler needs a better PARTNER!!!! It's like he's the father and raising Nova and Cate on his own.

I think they're concerned by the fact that she's STILL acting like that, and she's like 25 years old.
