who will be better off after the show ends?

After Teen Mom goes off the air, which cast members will be able to move on with their lives without the spotlight and MTV money.

I think out of all the cast, Maci and Taylor will be the most successful once the Teen Mom money and fame go away in a few years. They will be able to move on emotionally, as well as financially. Both seem to have good family support. Taylor still has kept a full time job outside of the show (I have not idea what he does since they never say, but his job is mentioned quite often). Keeping another job is smart. Maci seems pretty adaptable, like she would be able to figure out other things to do in support of her family other than the TV show. It will be rough, but I think those two will be better off than the rest.

Farrah currently has other side gigs that help her money situation. However, in the end, Farrah's life is based off her "fame" and the image that she puts out there. Once the fame and attention start to go away, and her plastic body starts to...um... change with age, she will be in for a rude awakening. Farrah enjoys being a wealthy, famous, intelligent, successful, beautiful young women in her 20's after all! That does not last forever. Especially when you base your livelihood off of them. She doesn't really seem to have a great business sense (despite how much she praises herself for such talents). I would be surprised if her various businesses and other ventures become successful in the long run.

Amber and Cate will both crash and burn. I hope not, but it doesn't look too certain for either of them. Neither has the common sense or foresight to plan much for the future. Neither are doing much to prepare for the end of the MTV gravy train. Once the show ends, both will run through their savings quickly (or certain people in their lives will do it for them). Amber wouldn't know what to do without the haters on social media that (supposedly) constantly badger her and Matt, yet she can't seem to live without their attention either. What will happen when truly nobody cares?

Tyler actually may be ok. He seems to deal with his issues better than Catelyn. Watching the work he's putting into their new house, Tyler could possibly get by working for a contractor or earning money with that type of labor. I don't know how good he is at such things, but it's a skill to fall back on if needed.

I don't intend for this to sound intentionally cruel, but the best thing for Cate might just be for the show to go off the air so she can officially hit bottom and get started picking herself up and getting on with her (real) life. Being on TV hasn't done her too many favors recently.

Amber will be completely helpless with no money and no Matt, and there definitely won't be any Matt where there's no money.

I think Maci or Farrah. Both are enterprising and also the only ones to have some kind of college degree.

I think Maci will be alright and I think Farrah will do okay for herself just because she'll do anything for money. If her business ventures fail she can always go back to "having boyfriends who accidentally release their professionally made sex tapes."

I also feel like once they know the show is over for good Tyler and Caitlyn will be too. I get the feeling he's afraid to leave while they're being filmed.

I couldn't agree more. As soon as the show comes to an end Tyler will leave Carelynn. She's so lazy and in denial of her massive problems. A man can only take so much.

I think that Amber will lose it once the show ends and love on her brown couch forever. Matt will leave her as soon as the money stops and possibly sell the story to a "tabloid."

I think both Maci and Farrah will land on their feet.
Amber and Catelynn are both lazy and lack ambition. So they are both in for a very rude awakening.
They will probably just get welfare in any and all forms that they can.
And look for them both to be single too. Matt will leave the minute money stops rolling in. And Tyler is already burned out with Cate's many issues and her not really trying to get better.
Tyler will probably get custody of Nova too.

I agree. I highly doubt this pleathe pocket t-shirt biz is the wave of the fashion future but they seem like they are motivated people who will make things work for them when the show is done. I also have no idea what Taylor does or what he did when he moved to TN from Dallas. I also see them squeezing out all they can from MTV before it's said and done and no one officially cares.

Farrah is a porn star and escort so there will always be business in that profession lol.

Cate and Ty....Cate and Ty smh, they scare me. I think they will try and be reality show jumpers showing up on every sleazy reality there is. But when that's done, I can see them struggling financially and Tyler having to take a low paying job to make ends meet sadly. Tyler has a lot of potential too. I wish he'd take advantage of this money and opportunity and get an education and career established so that the fall isn't hard once the show is over. I also see him leaving her or only staying for Nova, not being happy either way. I don't see her ever getting a job or education. I see her hiding behind "being a stay at home mom". It will be interesting how that goes once Nova's in school all day.

Amber will also be in for a rude awakening. While allowing herself to be incarcerated to get clean did change her life for the better, she also shot herself in the foot because when she goes broke, she will never be able to get school aid due to being a felon. It will also be difficult to find a job due to her infamy and record. I do not see Matt staying with her after the lights dim. He will find a reason to end the relationship and she will be in a dark place again.

This show was a gift and a curse for them all.

Amber said she owns two businesses and talks about how she thinks the best thing the Tm girls can do with their money is invest it.

I agree that Maci and Taylor will likely be fine. Farrah on the other hand Idk about. Once the show ends she won't have the MTV money to start all these "businesses" and I don't see the ones she has right now going anywhere for very long, partially for how she treats employees, and partially because once the fame goes away, so will the appeal of people wanting to visit these places. I do agree she seems willing to do pretty much anything for money so she might last a little while after the show is over, but I don't see it being long term.

I agree with everyone else about Catelynn. She won't last a bit. I don't think Tyler would either, even if he left her. He's all talk.

Amber potentially could be ok. If she and Matt are serious about this house flipping thing and have saved any amount of money to keep it up, then it could be a pretty smart thing to get into, even if they're using some of the money to hire others to do all the work. The profit on that kind of thing could be pretty significant.
