I know a beer is not a big deal. But if you were on a reality show, being seen by the public why would you always be seen with a beer in your hand? Is that a Chatanooga thing? It makes them look like alcoholics. Who knows what is Maci's thermos. Maybe that is why she appears so relaxed the last couple of seasons with Taylor. She is always buzzed.
shareDrinking beer on TV doesn't make you look like an alcoholic. I don't get why people are so fascinated with what people drink. I've never once seen them dunk and acting a fool, so what if they drink, its there life and they seem to take care of their kids just fine.
shareIf you're being filmed, you're very conscious of what you're wearing and doing at all times. The very fact it doesn't occur to them that they constantly have beer in their hands says something. Could they function without holding the beer? It's like Charlie Brown and Linus with blanket. Put down the beer!
shareWho cares, they are taking care of their kids, I could careless if they drink beer. I still don't get why people care, at least they aren't yelling at their parents in front of their kids, or not seeing there kids b/c they are to depressed. Them seem to take care of their kids just fine, thats what matters.

shareI'm pretty sure Farrah drinks wine every episode too. We don't know the timeline between their segments, but we know its not every single day. They may only drink once or twice a week and just happens to be the days they are taping.

shareIt's definitely a little crazy that in the majority of their scenes they are drinking. I know plenty of people who are actually alcoholics and if they were being filmed they would only be caught drinking a small percent of the time. Not because they would hide it, but because they aren't drinking all damn day long. They drink at night when they are done their daily responsibilities.
shareExactly. My point was anyone would be a bit self conscious while being filmed and be cognizant that they were in fact drinking alcohol in most if not all scenes they are in. It looks bad in my opinion.
shareBeer is pretty important in their lives, it doesn't seem like a few times a week type thing. They have different signs in their kitchen talking about "home is where the beer is" or something like that. Her gf gave her a 6 pack for her bday, and their wedding gift to guests was a beer holder thingy lol. Id say it's pretty prevelant. I just hope Benny doesn't grow up to think beer is one of the major food groups.
