Teen Mom 2 Dad Special... Something I noticed...

In the dad special, while Gary was making breakfast, and the guys were just talking about their exes there something that Jo said about Javi that I didn't like.

He says that when Javi is deployed, he and Kailyn get a long great. He feels as though Javi hinders the relationship because in his mind, he tries to get along with Javi but it's never reciprocated.

I feel like the person who let this happen was Kailyn. During her courtship and marriage to Javi, she always trashed Jo because she was jealous of Vee. Kailyn, for some reason, thought she could see other guys and move on (even living under his roof) but Jo couldn't do the same. And the crazy thing is, he never really dated until he found Vee. It's like the one girl he dated he fell in love with and now shares a kid with.

Kailyn in the beginning couldn't stand that so their co-parenting became toxic until Vee had the baby. I noticed a change in her after Vee had the baby and it was Kailyn calling her more. Asking to hang out more. All in the guise of wanting everything to be better for Issac. It's great but at the same time it wasn't genuine at first. It's like she wanted to be around them more because of the baby. Thankfully, it gradually has changed to something more genuine if you understand what I mean.

As for Javi during the midst of this, before the baby, Javi was her go to when it came to trashing Jo and making him seem like a dead beat dad who didn't pay child support. It was like yeah he sees his son but whenever she was mad at him it was the whole Jo is lazy. Jo doesn't work. Jo doesn't go to school. Jo this. Jo that. And when she felt better, it was like she couldn't understand why Javi would ask her things like why aren't you putting him on child support? I take care of all you guys. And blah blah blah. Well, Kailyn shouldn't have acted so surprised when she planted the seeds in his head.

I feel like Jo means well when it comes to Javi and I feel like Javi never gave their "relationship" a chance beyond the mandatory things about Isaac because from day one, he perceived Jo to be a certain way and not everyone is like Taylor (Maci's husband). He has his opinions and he voices them.

I think since Kailyn and Javi are over now, maybe he and Jo can establish a better relationship like Corey and Jeremy did post Leah. They both had their perceptions of each other because Leah would always bash Corey to Jeremy. I hope Jo can see that even when Javi is home that there is no tension. Maybe Javi can take him to work out, who knows? I just felt like Kailyn is partially to blame for their sour relationship and Javi could have taken heed last year or so to Kailyn saying hey let's go hang out with Vee and Jo but I just think he was being cautious because Jo and Kailyn always argue and not speak. He doesn't want to be caught in the middle.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I feel.
