Alex Pettyfer!!

Alex Pettyfer has to be Daniel. I will not watch any of the movies if he isn't. The whole time I was reading the books i thought ALEY PETTYFER!! ALEX PETTYFER!!He is an amazing actor and fits the discription of Daniel. I do not think of Liam as Daniel at all Daniel should have longish hair, be buff, and he looks great with Lucy Hale!! NOT LIAM!!!!!!!!!

I'd be a little bit dissapointed if Alex is Daniel. I feel like he is a lot of hype, but not as good as people give him credit for. Idk. Whatever.

I totally agree with you...i was imagine someone else as Daniel...like..I don't know...maybe Liam Hemsworth??maybe-maybe not...what do you think??

I wouldn't mind seeing Alex play Daniel. I liked him in I Am Number Four.

He is not going to be in this movie. He turned down Mortal Instruments because he didn't want to do another YA franchise, you really think he's going accept Fallen? And why the hell is Alex's name always getting mentioned for every good-looking, blond-haired, lead male character in popular YA books? I don't blame him for turning down MI.

Probably because most of the male leads in all these YA books are attractive blondes. Alex fits that description.

He didn't turn down anything. He asked for so much money they laughed in his face.

As far as I'm aware, Alex asking for more money was a rumor. He did turn down the role because he wanted to do more "serious" roles. Whether or not that proves to be a good career move is something that remains to be seen.

I really hope Alex doesn't get offered the role because of his attitude. There are plenty of young blond male actors that could do the role just as well if not better than Alex.

I did picture Alex as Daniel. If not..then someone real good. Definately NOT Liam Hemsworth or w/e his name is...Daniel is supposed to be strangley, insanely, very atrractive. Same with Cam...if Ian Somerhalder was just a few years younger, i would've picked him as Cam. xD

P.S I JUST found out they're making one of my fav series into a movie...I don't like this idea...I'm sorry...i'm all iffy about this. The last time they made a fav book of mine into a movie franchise they also created insane psycho freaks known as fangirls which totally ruined the experience for me and a lot of people *coughTwilightcough* <<< although i still respect this series, even with all the hate from others..i just don't want Fallen to end up the same D:

please, no Alex Pettyfer! I don't mind the actor himself, but I cannot picture him as Daniel at all. Though, he's described as a buff guy, I still picture him looking like a typical male teen, aka babyfaced (a pretty babyface though, haha)
My perfect pick for the role would be Toby Hemingway (Reid Derwin from the Covenant)

I completely agree with you on all aspects. I only pictured Alex Pettyfer as Jace in Mortal Instruments (but since he's not in that one.....). I can't see him as Daniel at all.

What the HELL is the fascination with Alex Pettyfer? Maybe there's something inherently wrong with me but I find him to be douchey, untalented and unattractive. I love these books, but if this guy is cast as Daniel, it will ruin them. Period. He is disgusting.

I don't see the fascination with Alex, either. It's like everyone wants him to play in EVERY YA movie out there! It's giving me the impression that everyone who does this is a pre-teen who likes listening to Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus!

Anyway, once an actor is attached to a character (for example, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen), it stays with him. Therefore, I can only see Robert as Edward. It would ruin any other movie with him in it - I'd always see Edward, not the character that Robert's playing. Also, I kept waiting for Dumbledore to appear when I watched "The Woman In Black" with Daniel Radcliffe!

You see "Dream Cast" videos all the time on Youtube, but that's all they are - DREAM casts. They're fantasies. And that's fine. But some people take it too far when they start up petitions to get a certain actor to play a certain role.

And if people don't like the cast, then simply don't go and watch the movie. Just read the books and imagine whoever you want to imagine in those roles.

Definitely Alex would be great! or I imagined Daniel as Chord Overstreet aswell!
