Is it worth it?

Is the book worth to read? What it is all about? Does the love triangle is the main story?

The first book leads you to believe it's all about a love triangle, but it's not. After the second book the main story gets stretched and tiring a bit, plus i'm not very fond of weak main heroines, i don't know if it's your cup of tea but check it out.

In my case she was as blank and flat as a piece of paper. The YA heroines have a tendency to be dull, completely depending on their love interests. I've noticed that ever since i read Twilight. I didn't relate to her at all and i found her interesting only when the other characters were around, Arriane and Roland for example fired up my curiosity much more than she did. I like mysterious heroines who are capable to carry out a story on their own. Perhaps a little unlikable and weird but with a tinge of charm and wit. I've always been intrigued from seemingly difficult and fearless characters who have secrets and hidden vulnerabilities. This is the kind of heroine i chose to read and write about.

How you think this author or any other started out?

I say the book is very worth the read. It's quite a bit different than many other teen novels. It isn't even really a love triangle, in the first book anyway.

It's alright. The main focus is the timeless (literally) love story between Luce and Daniel. The first book wants you to think there is going to be a love triangle, but there isn't one.

The second, third and last book are also okay. They drag on a little sometime, but in the end reading the series was worth it.

Luce is also an okay character. She is definitely stronger than Bella, but don't expect a Katniss or Tris-like character. Daniel is also okay. I would describe him as mix between Peeta, Edward and Dimitri from VA.
