By the end of the movie, I wanted the aliens to kill Jarod and Elaine...

...When the audience wants the "heros" of the movie killed off, you know something went wrong with the movie. Also, the way too obvious rip off of WAR OF THE WORLDS on how the aliens moved and searched for humans was too blatant to ignore. I don't mind if movies borrow from each other, but when you start wondering if this is a WAR OF THE WORLDS sequel halfway through the movie, again, we have a problem. Lastly, when the alien ship was sucking Jarod and Elaine up into the ship and the movie suddenly turned into a romance movie with the passionate kiss, I literally started laughing out loud. Just an overall bad movie.
