Worst movie ever!!
Anyone agree?? At least the worst alien invasion movie!
shareSkyline wasn't great but I've certainly seen worse.
The current rating of 4.4 seems a tad low, I would personally rate it more like 5.4. It is mediocre.
Anyway the absolute worst alien invasion movie has to be Battlefield Earth.
Skyline was slightly better than Battleship.
that might be true, I have not seen Battlefield earth, but I heard it was very, very bad. I disagree about battleship though, at least it was entertaining.

I just watched this and I didn't think it was that bad at all. I mean, I think the whole point was to not know why they invaded. Isn't it much scarier that way? If you think about any good movie or series of books, there is usually a reason why the villain does what they're doing. In some ways, you sort of sympathize with them because of it, but if you never know the real reason, or if there is no reason, how can you sympathize?
share"Worst movie ever!!"?
No it wasn't and don't be so pathetic!
You can't possibly say that unless you've seen every single movie released, and I know you haven't - so quit with your exaggerations, they make you seem doopid!
How about these?
Battlefield Earth
Lawnmower Man 2
and any other film in the bottom 250!
First of all When I say worst movie ever, I mean the worst movie I have seen, and I already said I did not see Battlefield earth. If you dont respect that I Didnt like the movie, then your pathetic! And there is no bottom 250, only bottom 100. Its just opinion, you dont need to freak!
sharePerhaps he forgot to add "in my experience".
You have the brain of a 5-year old, and I bet he was glad to get rid of it. Incredibly childish and insulting post.
It was certainly one of the worst I've seen, which is saying something these days.
thank you im glad someone agree ( of the post and the movie)
shareNo.
Battleship, Independence Day, The War of the Worlds are much worse.
District 9 and Battle: LA are good.
But that's 3 to 2.
Skyline have weak main character. But he is weak by design. Humans are weak.
Watching this film was a woeful experience. I didn't pay for the pleasure so, every cloud..... Budget has never been an issue for me so it is with ease that I say, regardless of its small budget and reasonably good CGI, Skyline is *beep*
'Doc note, I dissent, a fast never prevents a fatness, I diet on cod'.
Disagree, it was considerably more dramatic and entertaining than, for instance, "Independence Day", "Godzilla" or "Transformers".
shareIt had some genuinely creepy moments, which mostly involved the CGI. But yeah the movie overall was quite lame.
shareI found little entertainment value with Skyline. What is there to enjoy when all the main cast did was run around screaming at the top of their lungs when ever the aliens showed up?. After a while, I rooted for the aliens to kill everyone so that the movie could end.

Don't know why exactly, but this movie reminds me a lot of dark skies, but dark skies is a much better movie. However Skyline is still a masterpiece compared to Monsters :D
