What was Eddie nationality supposed to be...?

I though he is acting like ( Egyptian ) especially with saying ( th = z ) like:

This is my father = zis iz my fazer ....XD

But hell noooo it doesn't match any... even the name.

is he Russian, Israeli, Scottish, or What...?

German/Austrian.

He said German words like wunderbar so I don't see how it was meant to be ambiguous.

German. Most Germans pronounce the th and s as z, when talking in English, myself included sometimes - for instance I catched myself saying friday "ze bar iz opened' (immediately thinking: wow, that was baaad).

I'm so glad that I always watch movies in the original language, no exceptions ever! However, the majority in Germany and Austria will have watched the dubbed version. He will probably be dubbed as American or Canadian, because everyone else is speaking German.

but they never said where he was supposed to be from? DidnĀ“t someone say Switzerland at one point?

reply

Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish name.

reply

He was speaking German. So he was either German, Austrian, or Swiss.
