This Movie is a Big , Fat Mess!

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, two pros, usually shine in this type of film. This movie has some funny and imaginative sight gags. The kids are precious. The problem with this romantic comedy is that it had no romance. Maybe that's what the writer intended, but the audience is disappointed. The setup is classic romantic comedy material. The audience wants Adam to see how lovely Jennifer is and realize it is she he truly loves.
Adam was trying to construct a movie that was a cross between "First 50 Dates" and "Along Came Polly". The tropical scenery. The goofy sidekick characters. I was unable to sit through this movie. It seemed forced and unappealing, and I like both Sandler and Aniston. I only wish they could have picked better material than this brainless wonder of a movie.
