Poorly written, predictable and Aniston was terrible-spoilers

What a crappy premise for a movie. The whole thing is about him covering up a lie that didn't need to be told. He takes a family across the ocean to play out his silly lie that he is going to have to come clean with eventually. On top of that the young girl is perfect and you don't want to see her get rejected which you know is coming. You could see the old cliche ending coming from a mile away where he is going to fall for the other girl. They forgot to set it up though. The first time Aniston's character meets the new girl, she talks about ED and piles on other insults, almost sabotaging the whole thing so she comes off like a bad friend from the onset. We're supposed to be behind him falling for her while she acts like a tool and lookswise can't even compare. Completely unrealistic. At least get an actress in there that looks as good as the other girl and not like her tired aunt. Aniston can play the romantic lead but doesn't have the looks to play opposite a beautiful girl.

Decker's character was perfect? Being perfect isn't restricted to just good looks.

Wish I could have an imperfect girl like Aniston for my very own!!!

Totally agree - worst movie of the year

Aniston had a better body, tho Decker is hot young of course.

I agree the movie was terrible but I wasn't annoyed by Aniston's acting. I understand Brooklyn Decker isn't an actress by trade, but her and Sandler were just terrible. Her acting was horrible and I can't remember the last time I watched a movie that had such a one dimensional, boring character like Palmer. The movie made me cringe a lot and was a mentally painful experience overall.

So, basically you don't know what you're talking about. Doesn't have the looks? Are you joking? At the swimming pool scene her body dominated Decker's.

I really liked this comedy. I laughed hard at many scenes with a minimal amount of alcohol in my system. I think it was perfectly cast and I felt the chemistry between the two leads.

It fulfilled its purpose: make me laugh. A solid 8/10 comedy.
