Why does Palmer say to the little boy...


"Your dad says you really like to go to the bathroom." Or something like that. That line made no sense.

Who doesn't like going to the bathroom? People find a lot of relief there.

Well, firstly its a comedy. Secondly she was trying to make conversation and establish rapport. Thirdly, the kid needed to take a devlin at the office so it was probably the only thing Dr Maccabbee could think of to tell Palmer about him.

"They who... give up... liberty to obtain... safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
