Why does Palmer say to the little boy...
"Your dad says you really like to go to the bathroom." Or something like that. That line made no sense.

shareWell, firstly its a comedy. Secondly she was trying to make conversation and establish rapport. Thirdly, the kid needed to take a devlin at the office so it was probably the only thing Dr Maccabbee could think of to tell Palmer about him.
