Soundtrack Question

Did I hear them "inter-mix" a portion of "Every breath You Take" (The Police) & "Chasing Cars" (Snow Patrol)?? That was so cool! It was so smooth! I wanna hear that again; but I don't know how to find it. Did "anyone" notice that??

yes, they did a few of those in the movie. The put Rihanna's song over.......some Pop hit from the 80's. Everything sounded really cool though

There was also Soft Cell's Tainted Love mixed with Bob Marley's Is This Love played when Decker did her Bo Derek out of the ocean.

Actually, I liked the movie, but I loved the soundtrack. As a huge fan of The Police, I was so thrilled that they used several songs from what I consider to be their best album, Zenyatta Mondatta. I'm wondering why they chose this album? Perhaps because some of the sings are lighthearted, beachy kind of songs. Anybody know? I also heard a few Sting sons as well. Sounds like the director must be a big fan.

It was awesome to hear so many Police songs in this movie (been a fan of them for 30 years now), but I didn't like the way they mixed their songs with the others.

Those are called Mash-ups and they were done by a couple of different DJ's

The best was the "Roxanne"/"You should be dancing" mash up. nice.
