Adam Sandler just CAN'T make movies

I love this guy offscreen, as he is hilarious and very polite, but on screen, he has produced some of the crappiest and most contrived comedies ever made. That's My Boy, Just Go With It, Jack & Jill, Grown Ups 1 & 2, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, The Benchwarmers, Bucky Larson, Zohan, Here Comes the Boom, etc. Happy Madison is a dreadful company, and the fact that they haven't gone bankrupt makes me realize how horrible the world really is.

Why hasn't Columbia just stopped Adam yet? Why? Because they make a large profit off his garbage? His movies are the same *beep* poop jokes, fart jokes, Nick Swardson acting like a jackass, hot women being thrown at our face the same way Michael Bay does it, forced morals and themes, sexual tensions with old women, etc. I don't get it.

Adam, please just close down Happy Madison. Your films just blow ass.

This has got to be one of the funniest posts I've read. It's titled Adam Sandler can't make movies...then the post itself lists 10 movies Adam Sandler "couldn't" make and that's not nearly a complete list. Obviously, whether you like his movies or not, Adam Sandler CAN make movies, and NOT just in the sense of being permitted to, but in the sense of producing a product enough people enjoy that the movies continue to be profitable. I don't like all of his movies, but there are many I watch over and over. I just enjoy how he portrays on the screen. For me, anyways, that "hilarious but very polite" persona shows through EVEN when he's playing a really stupid character.

I think your comment, "I don't get it," is important. You don't get it. Many others apparently do and enjoy it enough to support his industry. Why should he stop producing products many people enjoy and are willing to pay to see?

Just consider how many IMDB threads there are for each of his movies. Some movies I watch don't have ANY threads. Many just have a few or at most a few pages. Almost all of his have five pages of threads. This suggests his movies attract attention and "that's what it's all about."

So let me get this straight... people enjoy movies about children getting neglected from their parents (Just Go With It & That's My Boy), Rape (That's My Boy), fart jokes (Every crappy HM movie since 2002),atrocious dialogue, despicable characters, and forced emotional endings to hide the fact that the movie has no heart. Yeah, if they like those traits, then we live in a *beep* up world.

I certainly enjoyed That's My Boy. Laughed out loud on many occasions throughout... Of course, I'm a big fan of stand up comedians, Opie and Anthony, and other stuff that you might call offensive.
