Why all the Sting/Police-songs in this movie?

Why not? What would you have preferred?

I thought it was pretty cool the way they combined Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars' with Sting's 'Every Breath You Take'. That was wonderful.....

Sandler always has awesome music in his movies... usually 80s stuff. Except for obvious musicals like Sweeney Todd & Les Mis his movies are about the only soundtracks I buy.... the soundtrack of my young adulthood!

I think Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston (no, I didn't remember their character's names) told the lie that their first date was a Police concert, but I don't know if that was a causation or a correlation.
