This last Saturday the 48 hours called "Hannah Graham: Deadly Connections" is also about the Morgan Harrington case. You can watch the past episodes of 48 Hours on CBS.com or if you have On demand they usually play them for free after about a week. It had a lot of information that pretty much took up right after the Disappeared left off so I thought some here may be interested to see the update on the case.
I never understood how she ended up outside the arena. If she went to use a bathroom she would have been inside the arena.
You're not the only one confused by that. I've never understood it--because it makes no sense whatsoever. Granted, I haven't been to a concert [or any event] at an arena in a long time, but when I used to go a lot the arenas always had bathroom facilities INSIDE the arenas! I've never even heard of one that didn't...until, apparently, the one she went to. So, what, there were thousands of people there for the Metallica concert, and the only bathroom facilities were outside--and if you went outside to use the bathroom, you weren't allowed to re-enter? So confusing...
It's a shame she made such poor choices that evening.
My understanding was she went to the bathroom in the arena but for some reason chose to leave. I'm guessing she was not thinking very clearly and I thought they said she had fallen down and hurt herself so she IMO was just over it and not thinking clearly because of alcohol.
I was at this concert with my boyfriend. The bathrooms were inside and I did use them. It was very crowded and loud everywhere (as most concerts are) and you could buy alcohol right by the front lobby and a lot of people were drunk.
As we entered everyone was patted down and this let in the arena, when they checked our tickets they told everyone that once you are in you have to stay in, you cannot re-enter even if you have your ticket with you.
The bathrooms are close to the entrance of the arena and there were several of them, I did not see any bathroom outside.
