I think he's still alive. Wyoming or Montana are scarce and probably easy to go under the radar.

It seemed he was close with his family however to keep a big secret like being arrested and spending the night in jail, he couldn't tell his parents about it? He didn't think they would help?? It didn't surprise me that he just left. I don't think he committed suicide. He thought the worst. He was young and made his first huge mistake. He no way would have gone to jail.He already pretty much made restitution.

He didn't call his parents for days, so he probably wouldn't call after he left. You can certainly work without papers.

He might live out on a ranch and work for rent and food in a rural area.

He will show up years later, I believe he's alive and if so I hope he just calls his parents and let them know.

They're interview they didn't cry..not even the mom. Makes me wonder if they know he's alive.

I don't think his parents have any idea where he is and it's hard to make that assumption based on a tv interview. I'm not sure if he is still allive or not but I really hope he is, he seemed very depressed and I think he was kinda taking things minute by minute. I just hope things worked out for him and his parents hear from him one day.

I can't imagine his parents would agree to publicize his case for national tv when they secretly know where he is, that seems pointless.

If they seem somewhat plain spoken, it's because they have described this hundreds of times already. Also, just because they choose to gather themselves for a tv interview doesn't mean they aren't devastated.
