Leah Roberts case

I don't think it's ever been reported if the DNA evidence they found on some of the belongings in the jeep has ever been released? I still feel in my gut it's the guy who had experience as a mechanic and would know how to make the jeep drive on its own. Last I heard he lived in Canada. I think Leah trusted the wrong guy and things went horribly wrong. In this case it's just a matter of finding what he did with her. This case to me is the most haunting along with The Springfield Three.

I did some searching.nada, sure does look like they haven't released the dna results...I did read that the the print under the hood doesn't match either man that was sitting next to Leah in the diner

Hi Libby, I just watched again and remember about the prints under the hood, however they found male DNA on other items of Leah's that were being tested and that's what I was wondering about. It seems like this guy not only crashed her jeep on purpose but also staged the crime scene by putting up blankets/towels to cover the broken windows, etc. so he may have gotten some of his DNA on her things that way. I wish they could catch this guy as they seem to have a very likely suspect now they just need the hard evidence.

I just feel in my gut it's the second guy from the restaurant. And creating a ruse about a third guy named "Barry" also makes me think he was just trying to deflect suspicion off himself but to me it actually does the opposite. If the other DNA they found on her personal items comes back to this guy, they will finally have the hard evidence they need to prosecute him. Right now it's all circumstantial. But he is or should be the main suspect in the case.
