i love watching it, but omg. like to think that in this day and age that people can just vanish into thin air without a trace? some of these stories have zero clues, and human bodies just like evaporate. in this day and age with DNA testing and fingerprinting and social security and passports and all the other technologies to keep track of people it just shocks me. like sometimes i watch these episodes and think "surely they'll find a body" but they never do. it just really frightens me how human beings can just sort of evaporate and their loved ones have no closure, no idea where they are or what's happened to them. it just really is chilling. i love this show because it keeps the missing alive in a sense, it keeps them from being forgotten. i love this show, but several of these episodes haunt me years and years after i've watched them. it's definitely the most chilling show i've ever watched and i love crime shows.

it is chilling....I can't even imagine what these families are going through..we need shows like this to help look for the missing

'Disappeared' is my favorite ID show.
For the families, the not knowing what happened to the missing has to be unbearable torture.

Another show I liked was 'Unsolved Mysteries'
with Robert Stack. Scary stuff.
