someone brought to my attention that there were a few specials...so I will include them here..charli scott (hawaii_ dead, lauryn garrett (washington state found alive unwilling to return to family) kelly nash (he is deceased in Georgia)

did I miss any specials?? please post if I did ,thanks!

let me know if I misspelled a name or have a name in the wrong group thanks!

(I just caught one misspelled last name)

just thought if I made a master list of the cases by group it would make it a little easier to due a search of those in the same group

I added a space between names to make it easier to look

Interesting.

Thanks for posting.

it was a lot of work, but I like having a quick reference....you are welcome!

Thanks!

What about Charli Scott? I just watched her special episode and came here looking for an update. Are the specials considered a different show?
She was a 27-year old pregnant woman who disappeared in Hawaii. At the end of the episode, the family said that the police had classified her case as a homicide- Yet no trace of her body had been found! I don't understand that point.

Series five is missing from Wikipedia. The ep was called, "Missing In Maui." Episodes-tv has it listed as Season 5, Episode 00

remember: tv is called PROGRAMMING, items of news are STORIES

travisthesky you make a good point, missing from the specials should be included, I will add her name...what I remember is they found no body but found some kind of proof that she died a "horrific death"

http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/28568171/motion-to-dismiss-in-charli-scott-murder-case-denied

they found charlis' skirt...there were over 20 holes (stab holes, not holes from worn out or other causes) all in the area where the fetus would be in her belly...they consider it horrific and and torture that she suffered so many stab wound to her fetus while she was and the fetus were still alive.

reply

OH, wow! Thanks for that update! Quite harrowing.

I figured out that Wikipedia doesn't list season five because it is actually season six. No idea why.
I've seen the titles of at least two more specials show up as suggestions on youtube. I haven't watched them yet- lately youtube is very glitchy on my computer. The lesser-used sites such as project free tv and fanstash work better, but they don't offer as many eps of Disappeared as youtube does.

I wonder how many of the dead were due to foul play. That would be interesting to find that out. Thanks for all the information.

reply

we have 8 cases with convictions (Amy St Laurent, O'hair family, Rosemary Christianson,
Christi Cornwell, McStay Family, Morgan Dam, Danice Day,
Dana Pastori, William McGrath.

we have 6 cases of violence (Page Birgfed, Matrice Richards, Charli Scott,Tina
McQuig, Colleen Osborn, Molly Bish,

we have 4 cases of undetermined.. (john glasglow, jamison family, Brian Histand, Patricia
Viola)

we have 1 case of suicide.........(Michael Fuksa,) 1 hit by car (Samantha Banner), 1 fell
off cliff (Jesse Capin), 1 fell over waterfall and
drowned (Randy Morgensen), 1 caught in a bad storm
(Noah Capin)

Samantha (hit by car) was being chased so I wasn't sure if I should put her in the violent section or her own section hit by car...

suggestions are welcomed!

Does the list-maker (or anyone) know why certain episodes have been pulled from Youtube? I thought it might have to do with a certain disappeared person's economic status (the Ray Gricar episode is totally gone from Youtube, for example, even though he was declared legally dead). But the Harringtons and certain other families seem to have had the means to buy anonymity--and didn't.

Lester Jones goes to trial next week for the murder of Paige Birgfeld.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

They're The Springfield Three , not the West Memphis Three :)

oh my gosh you are right..I will fix that

other than that your work is awesome!

Love this show, any other good recs similar?

you can't spell slaughter without laughter

I re-watched the Brandon Michael Fuksa episode yesterday and wondered if any insight into his suicide (I assume the death was ruled suicide) was ever written about. I can Google it, of course. Although I believe that keeping episodes about missing people who almost certainly took their own lives is valuable and instructive, I then think of the episodes that have been "disappeared" from the internet, probably by firms like Reputation Defenders. (Ray Gricar being the "disappeared 'Disappeared'" I'm thinking of.) It seems unfair that certain people have the benefit of final silence, while others do not.

I don't think it; I know it. Information on the Gricar case certainly exists online--plenty. I'm talking (and have talked on other threads) about families removing "Disappeared" episodes from re-airing.
