Leah Roberts

This is the case about the girl who left the message with the picture of the Cheshire Cat & then her Jeep was found in the woods having been in some sort of accident. This is definitely one of those cases where the person seems to have just vanished into thin air. Anyone have any ideas about this case? Foul play? Did she disappear on her own? If that's the case, it really saddens me when people do that & they don't have the respect & the compassion to let their loved ones know where they are.

I don't think she went missing on her own. Why would she go to the trouble to make her car go down an embankment and leave money (like $2500) and her mother's ring and other things behind? I think she got friendly with some evil person and they did something to her and put the body somewhere it won't be found easily.

They were supposed to test the DNA but I guess it never matched the man's DNA that she had lunch with there has been no updates to the case. He may have just been someone who wanted to involve himself in the case and just made up the whole story. There's a lot of oddballs like that.

She definitely didn't go missing on her own. It's obvious she met someone who did her harm and then staged the car crash to try and cover their tracks. It was probably one of the men she was talking to at the bar/restaurant. She also probably told the person that she was out on her own traveling so they saw an opportunity. Also the two men who were at the bar had conflicting stories as to what happened so there's a red flag right there.

This is probably a case of homicide. My guess is that she met a guy, told him her plans, and he decided to do away with her and her belongings, in hopes that her disappearance would go unnoticed in the area, while the focus would be on her real destination.

The car accident was probably staged, just in case someone caught on.

Underneath the hood of Leah Roberts' Jeep a wire to the starter relay had been cut. This would have allowed the car to accelerate without anyone depressing the gas pedal, confirming early suspicions that no one had been in the car when it was driven off the road and thus it had been purposefully wrecked. They found a fingerprint under the hood and some male DNA on an article of Leah's clothing.

the guy who said she left with a third guy and gave a name...as of 2011 his prints did not match the fingerprints under the hood...he moved to cananda

Yes i agree with most of the comments on here. I don't think she went missing on her own. It was one of the guys she met at the cinema. I think maybe they tried to have sex and she rebuffed their advances or something similar. It was quite an isolated area where the car was found, someone who obviously knew the area. She was from NC so i dont think she would know those areas to 'stage' her death.
