Continuity gaffe

I'm sure other people have spotted this, but...

At the end of 'It Snakes a Village', Linda's parents are talked into participating in the swinger lifestyle of their retirement community - Bob and Linda are surprised to see them kissing, not having displayed affection in 20 years.

So I'm rewatching 'Crawl Space' (2nd episode of the series) where Linda's parents are their houseguests, keeping everyone awake and traumatized with their loud lovemaking.

...call it a minor quibble. 'Crawl Space' quickly cemented the show's standing as a favorite right from the start.

Yes, that gaffe bugged me right off the bat. (Louise: I hope they are using protection cuz I am not looking after that kid.) Remember I kinda just went "whaaaaat?" when she said they hadn't kissed in 20 yrs...........

You can have sex without kissing.

Annoying the world since 1960!

Okay, I'll grant you that; considered it even - maybe they're all "hey, we're old, we gotta use our time wisely, let's skip the preliminaries and get right to it!"

So how about this one? In "Bob Fires the Kids", he gets a cigar box with his pathetic childhood 'toys' from the ladies who found it when they bought his dad's diner. Bob Senior is still there and it just strikes me that he wouldn't have ever sold the place. But maybe he did and has some arrangement with the new owners?
