I like this more than the Seth Macfarlene shows.

It's more character driven. I feel people when it comes to animated sitcoms are too reliant on gags and shock humor to keep them entertained. I mean I adore Family Guy but the Griffin's just aren't as colorful and joyful as the Belcher's nor are they as tight a family tbh. Also it seems like all the Belcher's are equally important to the show while in Family Guy Chris and Meg feel pushed aside most of the time. American Dad pushes Klause to the side even though he's the most likable character on the show.

Basically I'm saying animated sitcoms should focus more on characters and their relationship than gags and shock humor. That said South Park is still no 1 :D

Seth Macfarlane is trash and his shows are junk. I'd enjoy watching static or nothing more than any of that frat douches work.

The only MacFarlane show I like is "Family Guy", and it's starting to run out of steam. I never liked "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show" just seemed like a poor man's "FG". I'm also not fond of "South Park". I have a special place in my heart for the Belchers (and still for the Simpsons).

Seth doesn't care about his shows. Watch old family guy, there was passion and commitment in those first couple seasons. now the jokes are either:

Running jokes that go way beyond their point of humor simply as a way to kill time

Disgusting in shock value as a way to get a rise out of the audience

Painfully obvious observations about people in everyday situations in which the scenario is SO spelled out it actually feels like the targeted audience has learning disabilities.

It's a show for idiots and simpletons, used to be some of the funniest, most random jokes every, not anymore. BB is way better.

Both Family Guy and American Dad have sold out. They both (especially Family Guy seasons 1-4) used to be hilarious.

The Seth MacFarlene shows are my least favorite of the prime-time animated series. SOUTH PARK, SIMPSONS, KING OF THE HILL, and BOB'S BURGERS are all much more clever and interesting.

Bob's Burgers is clever, funny and quirky and minus all the nasty, vicious frat boy crap that spoils Family Guy.

I used to watch Family Guy a fair amount, as sometimes there would be a good laugh in it - but eventually I dropped out, since for me the laughs were outweighed by the show's vibe as mean-spirited, ugly on many levels, and often lazy to the point of actual contempt for its viewers with overextended 'bits' or out and out copies of this or that movie scene. It may be very popular, but so is McDonalds as opposed to, well, some struggling little burger joint with really good food.
