Did not like Shelby, but did the Belchers get.......
..........Their five months of free rent? You know something, that episode never answers that question, and I just realized it.
I didn't like how Shelby was introduced, villain for the sake of a villain, I didn't like it when she took the gun and almost killed Bob with it, but Bob really wasn't much better; because he knew Linda and the kids were just pretending to be Calvin's family, he knew that it was written out on paper, but he kept on acting like Linda was going to leave him for Calvin, and he began drinking absinthe to dull the pain and disappointment of not getting a thanksgiving his way.
Everybody else was having a good time, and he agreed to do it to get five months of free rent, they really were just celebrating it Calvin style and he took the kid's reaction to mean that they were going run away and everything looked real thanks to the influence of absinthe.
Meanwhile, he stole the turkey, ran upstairs being chased by Shelby with a gun [she should not have been doing that after all, she's not in the fields, she's in someone's home, shooting at a human being,] and his family protects him, but in the resulting chaos, he only managed to serve one salad, with croutons, but one salad just the same.
So now it comes to this:
While promised five months free rent, for the entire caper, did The Belchers get their free five month rent deal?
My guess would be no.
