Stopped watching after first 15 minutes

1) So the Vatican lets anybody with a camera just show up and walk into an exorcism lecture where they show private footage of alleged possessions?

2) The film is shot in a "documentary style" yet during the lecture scene the camera angle changes when different students are answering questions. Did the cameraman teleport all over the room to get the different angles?

3) The lecture students agree to have dinner and get interviewed by a 20 year old nobody.

4) Nobody in Italy spoke Italian.

I just couldn't keep watching.

Wish I did the same. This film sucks and I love Found Footage movies.

Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Number two is a flaw almost all found footage flicks have. Going along with it, most of these films are supposed to documentaries. Yet most real documentaries try to be professional as possible when it comes to camera shots.

These horror flicks always have a cameraman who must have Parkinsons.

I wanted to stop watching this crap but I just wanted to see how more retarded it could get
no disappointment there it got worse ...thank god I didn't spend money to see it in the theater

it is an offense to horror flicks and to cinematography in general ...
I am pissed even more after seeing how much it grossed in the theaters and how much it cost to make
I hope the authors and producers gets possessed and rot in hell

I almost turned it off. In the end I liked it though.

hmmm I need to make my own opinion one more time ..
I'll be watching it this week end, hoping it's not so much bad.

You saw that they had been given a media pass by the Vatican, right? They presented it to security on the way in. Also, plenty of people spoke Italian, but when you're speaking to English speaking people, what would be the point of speaking in a language they cannot understand?

If these are seriously your big beefs with this movie, it sounds like you enjoyed it, but you had to maintain your reputation by jumping on a trendy bandwagon. Sounds exhausting.

Yeah, I had a red flag about this when right at the start it says on screen "the Vatican doesn't allow filming of it's exorcisms", and "this film was not authorised by the Vatican".

It's just trying too hard to legitimise itself or something? Like we are privy to something the church didn't want getting out or some such nonsense.

Then as you say they waltz into the exorcism lecture with cameras rolling. Give me a break.

I just turned it off as I wasn't going to waste my time watching it. There are so many movies to watch that you just don't have to bother with dreck like this.
