8.5 or something like that.
i love it, & every time i've watched it i've been involved all the way through, but it maybe lacks a perfect ending or overall completeness that pushes it to the level of truly great.

4 and only for the lead actors' performances. They were very good in a very bad movie. Not much of a PT fan but this is the worst of what Ive seen from him.

Similar complaints. Some good performances in movies that are not very good. I just don't like PTA, I guess. I can see how people would like many of his movie (the two you note in particular) but I seriously am mystified by the fondness for The Master.
