Saw it on Friday to a packed house! It was fantastic! Even better than I expected, wasn't just a pure comedy too which is what I was expecting. Everyone was right into it in the cinema.

This film is so great, if you don't like it, you're an egg. A scrambled egg.

Yeah, just saw this. This is hands down one of - well probably the best NZ Film I've seen. I loved it. Captured the kiwi spirit perfectly.

terrific film. took my class to see it yesterday. showed them the short film inspiration "two cars, one night" today. they are quite enchanted - and so am i.

I hope it gets a wide release on DVD so fans around the world can enjoy it- it really is wonderful!

I disagree with your sentiment turrican_dx. Hollywood makes mainstream movies which try to appeal to a broad range of people. A movie like Boy in the US would be an Indy movie. Independent movies thrive just as much and sometimes cross over to mainstream. I think an example of this would be Napoleon Dynamite.

I just saw it too! Great film!

Some great films have come out of New Zealand i.e. Once Were Warriors, Whale Rider, etc.
